Two and a half weeks OLD!

Can't believe he's 2 and a half weeks old already! And as of today we will be in Ohio in exactly TWO WEEKS!! We can't WAIT to see everyone! And I know they can't wait to meet Denver! I took a few funny faces pictures this week and wanted to share them.
This to me says, alright mama lets duke it out!

This was some tummy time that he really didn't mind, I expected him to cry the whole time and he was very chill

Just laying on mama playing with his hands

Snugglin'!

We are all doing pretty well. trying to get a sleep schedule going. He went to the Doctor on Friday and got circumcised. It was very hard on me to hear him crying the whole time and try and calm him down afterward. But once we got home he did pretty well considering. He is on Tylenol as needed but hasn't had it at all today. At the Doctor's he weighted 9lbs, 8oz. so he's up 8 ounces from his visit last Tuesday :D We have a follow up this coming Wednesday to make sure everything is healing well!

Today we are very excited because Denver gets to meet UNCLE CHRIS! We are just waiting for him to get to phoenix!

DENVER IS HERE!!

After many months and challenges Denver Franklin Madison has finally arrived! He was born at 8:59pm on August 30th, 2011 weighing 9lb 2oz, and 21.5 inches long! We are exhausted, elated, thrilled, in awe and completely in love!

We were in the hospital from Tuesday morning until Thursday at 7pm. My pitocin was started at 8am and we started pushing at 8pm. An hour later he was Here! We had several challenges while in the hospital including his low blood sugar and jaundice which both resulted in supplementing with formula. We are now trying to get the swing of things as new parents. Nathan has been an amazing support. I don't know how anyone who's done this before has done it with out him! He will be home with me through Saturday then back to work on Sunday. Here are a few pictures of Denver's first week!

Excited to get going! (And a little nervous)
