Hello again everyone!

Sorry for our long overdue hiatus from blogging. I spent a month at the end of March, beginning of April in Ohio with Denver. We (mostly) had an amazing time. Although i did learn that we'll never be away from Nathan that long again! We missed him like Crazy and I honestly don't know how he survived :D

Ok so round 1 of photos, We started out our visit staying with, the new, Mrs. Erickson!

She had the opportunity to see Denver's love of water when we gave him a bath in her kitchen sink

 Here are a few of my crazy nieces! The reason we took these? Shana took AN HOUR to straighten kirstens hair! They seemed to enjoy it though! Just goofing off and surfing the internet mostly!

After taping this next video I'm wondering if my son is the next Motzart? Maybe...

Maybe not, but he is definitely a talker like his Momma!

Snuggler

Denver really loves to snuggle and fall asleep with Daddy, Grandpa, and YaiYai.

 

We have tried several types of baby food now Carrots, sweet potatos, green beans and now he's eating peas! He did ok with them last night, though not as good as Carrots. Those were his favorite! He also tried squash but only spit it back out at me :) Maybe we'll try it again soon.

 He got on the floor and laid with Jacob last night while watching TV.

And my favorite of his new things is giving KISSES! This was a picture of him kissing the phone for Meemaw!

He'll give her kisses when we are on Facetime or Skype. And loves to give us kisses when we're holding him. I love how he attacks you with a slobbery open mouth kiss

March Madness!

The first week of March has gone really well. We spent time with Grandpa and YaiYai Madison. Went to a place called As You Wish and made some pottery. Got a picture back from our professional photo session.

 First for our pottery projects. We painted Denver's feet and made a plate with footprints

Ever the mellow man he just sat and stared at the nice lady painting his feet

He held still and didn't wiggle when they put his feet down

Second Nathan and I picked out a piggy bank.
We have started collecting them for Denver. Nathans Mom got us two already, an elephant and a frog!
So we decided on a turtle piggy bank to match his bedding :)

 
Lastly, I wanted to compare Denver's feet now and when he was born.
The one on the left is the certificate of birth with his footprints on it. His feet were big even then but I'm amazed how much he's grown in six months!

Febuary -Part two!

Also this month we've started giving Denver rice cereal. We gave it to him in a bottle with formula first and then last night we set him in his high chair and fed him with a spoon :) Of course I made Nathan take a ridiculous amount of pictures and video! I was excited because the spoon we used is one that my grandma fed me with when I was a baby :) Judging by these photos you'd never guess how much he loves to eat!
