Another hospital visit

We ended up going to the hospital last night. It started about 3pm with cramping and mild contractions. and by 730 I had full contractions with shooting back pain and constant cramping. Was immediately hooked up to the monitor. Denver was fine. They then gave me a shot of something to stop the contractions. And called my DR. While the shot didn't completely stop them it lessened them a great deal. After about an hour they were mild and only lasting about 20 seconds. It seemed that every time Denver would move he would cause one. But I was still in a lot of pain from the cramping. Im thinking it was extra sore since it had been going on since 3pm and at this point it was 10 30pm. They decided to discharge me. I got some ambien to help me sleep and help calm denver down. They also gave me a perscription for pills of the same medicine I'd have in the shot earlier. I have to take it every 4 hours while awake, as long as my heart rate is under 120. So i've taken it once today. I am still very sore and might be having mild contractions. But am at home and resting. Trying to drink a lot of water, since I was a bit dehydrated yesterday which could have started the contractions. Nathan was with me all yesterday but is at work now. So I'm taking it easy waiting on him to be home.

34 Weeks now!

Getting closer! And more and more stressed out! I am very worried about our finances right now. Not being eligible for unemployment while im pregnant and still struggling to get approved for early dissability payments is really straining our budget.
At least we have our flights to go home in October so I don't have to worry about that. Denver is growing more and more. Should be over 5lbs now. Really starting to hurt when he moves. Last night he rolled around from 7pm until about midnight and I was sore the entire time. Im wondering if he is trying to turn into the downward facing position.  I am trying my hardest not to stress about becoming a Mom. Ever since Nathan and I were married everyone has told me that he would make an excellent father. which i knew. He is just one of those people who is great with children and I'm just not sure if I am. I know my biggest flaw is my lack of patience and that I really need to acquire it quickly.
On the plus side, Nathan has been on vacation all week and we've nearly finished decorating Denver's space. One more shelf to hang and we're all set! So here are some pictures of our progress!
This is a family photo we took yesterday, I am 34 weeks in it!
This is the view of our bedroom right when you walk in

This is the first of two train pictures taken and framed by my father in law David Madison
He did an amazing job!

We added the two small trains that I painted below his name and hung the second train picture on the adjacent wall.

Here is an up close picture of the color train photo.

Nathan FINALLY took me over to the in laws this week to go SWIMMING!
I think we're going back tomorrow, though hopefully they'll cool it down, the water temperature was 92 degrees. Kind of hard to cool off in it!

My two favorite people!

8 Months along TODAY!

Which means I only have 8 weeks to go! At our Dr's appointment today they measured Denver at 4lbs 2oz. When he gains only 6 more oz he'll weigh more than Margie and I combined when we were born. I have two more appointments two weeks apart then we start going weekly and talking about Labor. Scary.

Got some shopping done today and am definitely starting to calm down about having "everything he Needs" by the time he gets here. I know that we'll be OK and figure it out. We have donated two dressers this week and re arranged our bedroom to make room for Denver.
So we have his "nook" where he'll sleep right next to my side of the bed, with the name I painted for him, Then a picture of Amber and my In Laws boxer Jacob, Amber and Me today at 8 months preggers, The travel swing we got at the 2nd hand store for 1/2 what we'd pay for it new :), a boppy pillow, two pair of shorts and a pair of khaki pants we got him and some long sleeved onzies, and the dresser we're using as his changing station
