Sweet Baby

FUNNY FACES!

I am always amazed at Denver's personality and how developed it is already! Some days I know we are in serious trouble when he learns to talk and walk!

Here are a few of him with his current favorite toy, a book that the Hollingers got him

And that same day he and Amber were sitting with me on the couch and cheezing it up for the camera!

January of 2012!

I can not believe it is 2012! Wow how time flies! We are doing well in Arizona. Nathan is still working at Banner Good Sam. in Phoenix. We are going to be pretty busy in the coming weeks and months. He will be taking some training classes through his work that will certify him to use, understand and react to EKG machines and advanced cardiac life support training. It is a good opportunity and is being paid for by his hospital. Although I am a little sad because it definitely pushes back our move to Ohio. But how can you say no to on the job training that will give him more experience for later on. The training will last through March, at least. And then he wants to stay at Banner for a while to utilize his training and gain more experience.

We are also apartment hunting right now. Our current lease is up soon and we are looking for a bigger place. For such a small person, Denver does take up a lot of space :D. And I'm really excited because in  TWO WEEKS my MOM is coming to visit!! YYYYYYEEEEEEEEEAAA!
She is going to be amazed about how much Denver has changed!

Merry Christmas and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It has been a crazy few weeks with Christmas and New Years! Nathan has been working a lot but thankfully was off work on Christmas Day and New Years Eve. We had a wonderful time spending Christmas at our house. Denver was very alert though maybe not aware of his first Christmas. Then we headed to Mom and Dad Madison's to open presents with them. I'm pretty sure Denver got more presents than the rest of us combined thanks to all our family! (as it should be!)
We were also able to visit with the Barrett clan on their Christmas although only for a short while. Then we went back to Mom and Dad's for their family tradition of Steak Fondue. And were very thankful that Jerry and Camile Massey could join us! It was a wonderful time!
And for New Years Eve we spent it with Mom and Dad eating Crab Legs YUMMY! Although we didnt stay up to see the ball drop, even on west coast time, yes I know how sad that sounds. But in our defense Nathan had to work the next two days and Denver was a little fussy :D
