Train Park!!

We got to go to the Train Park in Scottsdale with Grandpa, who was our photographer too. We had fun looking at the model's they're building inside, looking at the Christmas decorations, Real trains they have, and riding the train around the park.

Elf Hat

Denver was very lucky to receive a hat from aunt Angie Birt. It's pretty, it has a fuzzy ball that is fun to look at, and it tastes good too..

 mmm mmmm yummy!

 I am ORNERY!!

 Second tasting

"Really Mom, another picture..."

Christmas memories

I have really enjoyed making Christmas memories with my family this year. Denver is growing up way to fast. He is now in six month clothing. He is 25 1/2 inches long and at least 16lbs. He can now hold his head up well when he is sitting up or laying on his tummy. He is acting like he is six months old because some times he gets so mad when he's laying down he'll grunt and turn red trying to sit himself up. It's pretty funny, unless you're trying to feed him, which he has to still lay down for.

This outfit was a sleeper that cousin Grant wore when he was born :D

Daddy is explaining to Denver how yummy beer is, when you're 21..

Denver can now hold his head up when he's on his tummy. Interesting fact: his feet also have to bee off the ground, probably helps balance the heavyness of his head

Sitting with Yia-Yia while she ate dinner and fell right asleep

Grandpa showing him the pretty Christmas lights

Sissy came and laid next to him on the floor and licked his hands

 Grandpa making him smile

This is Denver's attempt to sit up all by himself. He almost gets there and turns all red every time he tries. I think he might be standing before he's crawling...

Christmas time

Dear Jesus,

Please help adjust my attitude. Let me focus on You this CHRISTmas. I want to enjoy my family and friends. To let go of petty concerns. To be genuanlly happy for other people and their blessings from you. Let us be thankful for Gods gift in you. Please take away my worries. Let me know that you are here to comfort me. That with You I am taken care of. Blessed. Not to worry about the little things in life. Thank you for my amazing family. My loving husband and precious baby Boy. Thank you for that gift.
Amen.

Christmas is almost HERE!

We are SO excited to celebrate Denver's first Christmas! Today we FINALLY put up our TREE!!
We made sure Denver was dressed for the occasion in the outfit his Meemaw Hildreth got him. We also put an ornament on the tree that we got for Denver's first Christmas. It has his name, his birth date, and his weight.

Posing in our Santa's Little Helper outfit!

Denver helped me put his ornament on the tree!
He LOVES to stare at the pretty lights too!

puppy time

Denver loves to watch his 'sister' Amber and Grandpa's dog Jacob! Never gets scared, just loves to look at them. I can't wait until he can chase them around the house!

Jacob would not back away from Denver. He just wanted to be near him. So finally we let him lay down with him. He had to be so close to touch Denver. It was pretty funny

Jacob was checking Denver out so Grandpa wanted to see what all the fuss was about

Amber says he's got minty fresh breath!

Fun times with Daddy

Denver LOVES hanging out with his daddy. Chilling on the couch, listening to daddy's silly noises, or napping.

 Silly faces

 Smiling at mommy

 Deep conversations

Even when daddy grabs a blaket instead of a towel after bath time :)

And one of his favorite places to nap is on Daddy's chest
